The Lowdown

Elegant and glamorous, the Grand Hotel Tremezzo first opened in 1910. Sitting on the western shores of Lake Como with views over to the famous town of Bellagio, the family-owned art nouveau hotel is a local icon. Each room of this surprising place boasts an unmistakable personality. The Rooms

The hotel has 90 rooms and suites, all featuring a breathtaking view of the lake or the 20,000-square-meter secular park, which joins the botanical gardens of the aristocratic Villa Carlotta. The finely furnished Rooftop Suites on the top floor have a terrace with outdoor jacuzzi and private concierge service.

The main restaurant, La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi offers artistic, Italian fine dining serving the great Gualtiero Marchesi’s signature dishes(known to be the father of the modern Italian cuisine) and provides the most romantic backdrop of the lake as the sun is replaced by moonlight. L’Escale Trattoria & Wine Bar is more casual restaurant where you can sit on the veranda or cosy up inside the ancient wine cellar. You can also eat iconic dish, for lunches or private parties in the heart of the park at the T Pizza. You can have delicious barbecues and light meals on the lake shore, with a stunning view of Bellagio at T Beach. T Bar is a romantic lounge, ideal for cocktails at sunset.
