The Lowdown

OBLU by Atmosphere lies on Helengeli, an island in the Maldives’ North Male atoll. This modern, all inclusive resort boasts 116 villas featuring Maldivian interiors with private terraces and sea views. Beach Villa

The light, airy beach villas are set just steps from the sand and have a Maldivian touch with open air bathrooms and rain showers. There’s a private terrace with sea views where you can relax on a daybed.

Deluxe Beach Villa

If you want more space, opt for the Deluxe Beach Villa which is larger and has direct beach access. Decorated in chic Maldivian design, the villa boasts tropical colours and comfy furnishings. Here there is also open-air bathroom.

Beach Suite with pool

OBLU’s two standalone beach suites have their own 20 metre squared private pools with a large furnished deck.

Lagoon  Villa with Plunge pool

For the ultimate luxury break, book a lagoon villa, which comes with a private 5.2 metre squared plunge pool. There’s also an overwater deck with direct lagoon access and stunning sunset views from the large bedroom. Here you can find also an open-air bathroom

The Spice
The Spice is OBLU’s main restaurant and serves an international daily breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Just Grill
Set right on the sand looking out onto the blue beyond, the Beach Grill serves fresh seafood and meats cooked to perfection.

Set by the beachfront swimming pool, Helen’s Bar offers a full menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

My opinion

The greeting, after my hour boat ride from Malé, was a wonderful surprise. From that moment on i was made to feel very special for the whole holiday.Food was plentiful and varied, cooked and presented by engaging chefs.The snorkeling around the Island was great. Every day would offer up a new selection of wonders, sharks, turtles, octopus, jellyfish and manta rays along with the huge array of fish, especially i’ve enjoyed the trip by jetski to the sandbank and also we met all of dolphins at the sunset on the way back. The Staff were all very polite, smiling and helpful. They were attentive but not intrusive.I would love to return one day and would like to thank all the staff for making my stay so memorable.Everything was perfect from sunrise to sunset.
