The Ritz-Carlton Budapest

The hotel is as central as they come, with Váci utca, St Stephen’s Basilica and Andrássy út all a stone’s throw away. The main metro hub is also on the doorstep.

The 200 decent-sized rooms (including 30 suites) are contemporary in style with neutral colours of beige and cream. While the design is generally clean-lined and understated, there’s the odd adventurous touch, such as an asymmetrical light fixture that looks like a series of floating bubbles. All bathrooms have a tub and shower.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers a stunning array of treatments, spa rituals, a hot tub, steam room and a swimming pool flooded with natural daylight. The Fitness Center is open 24 hours per day and features state-of-the-art equipment.

It was very elegant, I loved the furniture and decor. Everything was to a very high standard and the bathroom products were gorgeous. Also loved the turn down service. Many Hotels seem to be forgetting this these days but it was beautifully done at the Ritz.
